The Rifle Boat Ramp serves as a primary put-in point for rafting on the Colorado River in Rifle, Colorado. Located at Lion's Park Circle, the facility allows visitors to launch their own watercraft or join guided trips. The river section here is rated moderate, featuring Class II and III rapids that offer a balance of challenge and accessibility for various skill levels. The typical rafting season runs from May through September, with trips lasting approximately two hours depending on flow rates. The ramp includes parking and permits pets. The current ramp location was moved farther downstream to the west in 2016 from its original site. Additional put-in and take-out options along the Colorado River in the immediate area include Grizzly Creek, Two Rivers, South Canyon, Tibbits/Dinosaur, New Castle, Silt, and Parachute.
