Tom Thumbs Tallywag is a small rock climbing tower located in Palisade, Colorado, at an elevation of 6,040 feet. The route consists of a 70-foot climb, typically classified as moderate. The ascent involves following nail heads up a steep ridge for approximately 65 feet to reach the base of a 15-foot narrow tower section. Climbers then perform aid moves to reach the summit block, which measures feet by feet. First ascent by Paul Ross in March 2001. Parking is available on site, and pets are allowed. The area is accessible year-round. Descent is quick but requires care. Protection includes tie offs and parachute anchors.
