About
Two Tone is a sport climbing route located on the Lower Wall in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The route is approximately 60 feet long and is described as difficult. The climbing surface is steep, grey limestone with an overhung section featuring incut edges. The route requires stick clipping the first bolt to protect the easy opening before making powerful moves to the second bolt. Climbers can stop at the first anchor or continue on a grey slab to a second anchor. Access is on private property within the Puoux (Super Puoux) area, specifically on the Defiance Cave Preserve. Climbers must download, complete, and submit a waiver to property manager Ken Headrick via email; scheduling is not required. The route is located on the left side of the Lower Wall, accessible by going left from where the trail meets the cliff and climbing uphill to the steep, grey limestone face. GPS coordinates are 39.5624, -107.30452. Parking is available nearby.
