The Upper No Thoroughfare Canyon Trailhead provides access to a canyon route within Colorado National Monument, located near Grand Junction. Hikers should bring their own water supply. The trail is rated moderate and typically takes about two hours to complete, though conditions can vary. The area is open for hiking from September through November. Pets are permitted. The terrain features rocky sections and canyon walls rising over 400 feet. While the lower trailhead inside the Monument is managed by the National Park Service, this upper access point offers a different entry into the canyon system.
