About
Western Zippity is a moderate singletrack mountain biking trail in Fruita, Colorado. It connects to the Zippity Loop system and serves as a common entry point for riders starting from 18 Road. The trail begins at the south end of a parking lot and heads west, ascending and descending small hills that are steep but short. It passes junctions for Kessel Run, MoJoe, and Zippity Do Da, which are one-way downhill rides. At the Zippity Do Da intersection, riders continue straight rather than taking Zippity Cutoff. The route turns north toward the mountains and climbs a ridge, staying near the top with views in multiple directions. The trail is approximately 1.4 to 2 miles long and can be ridden in either direction. It is open from April through October. Parking is available at the trailhead, and pets are allowed.
