The route begins as a shallow adobe wash before descending into a deeper gully that branches off Loutsenhizer Arroyo. The terrain quickly becomes steep with unstable, deep walls, where some sections have collapsed, requiring rider judgment. Rated difficult, the trail sits at 6,232 feet elevation and is accessible from April through October. Parking is available, and the trail is pet-friendly.
