About
Zofran is an 80-foot sport climb located in the Fault Wall section of the Puoux climbing area, approximately 25 minutes west of Glenwood Springs. The route is rated difficult, specifically 5.13c in the Yosemite Decimal System. It begins next to a pine tree, left of the route Fault Line, and ascends 16 bolts to a two-bolt anchor. The climb is characterized as an endurance pitch with big moves and generally good holds. The redpoint crux occurs at the lip of an overhang, leading to a slab of limestone. Walk-offs are available from the top. The site sits on private property within the Defiance Cave Preserve, requiring climbers to download, complete, and submit a waiver to property manager Ken Headrick by email. No scheduling is required, and no trespassing tickets are issued for non-compliance with the waiver process. Parking is available at the site.
