Alpine Village

Built by Denver businessmen in 1947 as an auto tourist camp, our twelve black log cabins have welcomed guests for over seventy-five years. We purchased Alpine Village in the spring of 2023 and immediately began restoring these authentic structures to preserve their historic character while integrating modern comforts. Each cabin offers a fresh look inspired by the striking contrast of black logs against locally sourced river rock lining our walkways. A central fire pit, shaped from natural stones, serves as the gathering spot where stories are told around the flames. Our resort operates seasonally from June 1 through September 30, accommodating everyone from single hikers seeking a soft bed and warm bath to large groups hosting weddings in town. We pride ourselves on uncompromising hospitality, blending the rustic charm of our restored interiors with access to remote wild lands and abundant wildlife.
