About
Teresa Stanfield acquired the patent to this land in 1898, establishing what is now our historic Lodge at Antlers in the San Juan Mountains. We have been celebrating over twenty-five years of ownership and management here, serving fine dining along the banks of the Rio Grande River. Our menu specializes in gourmet appetizers, steak, and fish, complemented by a full bar. We open for breakfast and dinner from late May through September, with reservations strongly recommended for evening service. Guests can enjoy live music and appetizers on our South Side Deck & Bar, or take advantage of private fishing on the Rio Grande and our private stocked pond. Our 35 spectacular acres feature modern housekeeping cabins, motel rooms with porches overlooking the river, and RV sites with exceptional mountain views. Bristol Head Peak towers over our resort, which sits just five miles from the quaint Victorian mining town of Creede. Families, fishermen, hunters, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts find Antlers ideal for their Colorado vacation.
