Cabin and Gift Creede

Cabin + Gift occupies a historic storefront on Main Street in Creede, Colorado, specializing in goods for the cabin and gifts inspired by mountain living. John and Miranda Dickinson purchased the location, formerly known as Elk Country Gifts, in the winter of 2023 and opened the shop the following May. The couple, originally from Ardmore, Oklahoma, moved their family to Creede after the town became their favorite summer escape from the Oklahoma heat. Their daughter, Riverleigh, resides with them in the San Juan Mountains.

The shop curates a selection of Creede-specific souvenirs, apparel, and gourmet finds. A key feature is the Creede Joy Box, a curated gift box featuring local items designed for occasions such as birthdays, thank-yous, or as welcome gifts for vacation rentals. The business ships these boxes and offers a variety of goods for the cabin. The store is family-owned and operated, maintaining a focus on local character and mountain aesthetics within a building that dates back to the 1890s.
