About
Clint Dennison’s first vacation rental, BaseCamp, began as a remodeled multipurpose building on his Collbran property before expanding into a portfolio of six unique stays. Clint, who owns Plateau Valley Animal Hospital, and his wife Pam, a retired teacher who manages the properties, offer accommodations that blend convenience with rustic charm. Our town properties, including a furnished rustic cottage and Grandma’s House, an 1889 Sears and Roebuck kit home, sit just outside city limits with full amenities like air conditioning and laundry, open year-round. In contrast, our mountain rentals lie seven miles south at the base of Grand Mesa, offering off-grid experiences accessible by 4x4 in winter. The Silo is a distinctive guest suite built inside an actual grain bin, featuring electricity, Wi-Fi, and an outdoor kitchenette. The Stagecoach Cabin provides a one-room homestead experience with an outdoor kitchen, while Sheep Camp pairs a Quonset hut bedroom with a sheep wagon bunkie. We built the Sunroom specifically for these mountain guests to enjoy free high-speed Wi-Fi, simple snacks, and cold drinks. All properties are pet-friendly, and our central location places you near Grand Mesa for four-wheeling, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, and hiking, as well as Powderhorn Resort for skiing and mountain biking.
