Fruita

We serve as the governing body for the city that shares our name, managing everything from elections to the comprehensive Housing Needs Assessment that residents are encouraged to review. Our initiatives include the Fruita Academy and grant-funded projects for Accessory Dwelling Units, all overseen by a City Council that holds regular and strategic planning meetings. Recent updates include Jared Prochnow’s swearing-in to fill an open vacancy and the postponement of our July 2nd 150/250 drone show celebration due to the ongoing Snyder Fire. We also support community engagement through the Fruita Tourism Advisory Council and the Municipal Court, ensuring our residents have access to the services and information they need right here in the valley.
