Garnet Mesa Baptist Church

Pastor TJ Lacock leads Garnet Mesa Baptist Church in Delta, Colorado, with a ministry anchored in the practical application of God’s Word. Our preaching blends topical and expositional styles to connect biblical truth with everyday life. Pastor TJ brings a background in youth leadership and university ministry from Wisconsin, where he served at First Baptist Church in Hartford and as a dorm parent at Maranatha Baptist University before accepting his call to Garnet Mesa during his final semester of Master of Divinity studies. Bethany, Ember, and Kina Lacock join him in serving the congregation. We maintain several active groups including a youth ministry, an elementary ministry, and a nursery for younger children. Our Ladies Missionary Group meets monthly to support missionaries through prayer, letter sharing, and gift collection during their furloughs. A unique feature of our church is the Shut-In Ministry, which records the morning service on CD and distributes copies to those who are sick, hospitalized, or unable to attend in person. Everyone is welcome in this small hometown church.
