About
Established in 1999 by Jeremy McComas and Rick Kostic, the Tommyknocker Tavern occupies a historic 1890s building on Main Street, serving as Creede’s reliable local watering hole year-round. We stay open seven days a week from 11am to 2am, offering food until 6pm and daily happy hour from 4 to 6:30pm. Our kitchen specializes in fresh sandwiches, deli meats, and BBQ smoked in-house, with BBQ ribs featured every Tuesday. The dining experience extends to our spacious back patio and second-story deck, providing a casual setting for locals and tourists alike. We celebrate 27 years in the mining town with a summer schedule packed with nearly 30 live music shows, featuring genres like bluegrass, rock, funk, jazz, and Americana from bands across Colorado and beyond. Beyond the music, we host beloved community events, including our annual Halloween Costume Party and Scavenger Hunt, and the Tax Day Luau Party with its pig roast and flume boat races. Our staff welcomes large groups and solo visitors to enjoy great beer, barbeque, and live entertainment in this historic Creede building.
