At 1151 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16 miles west of Craig, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include... Craig, Meeker, Hayden, Lay, Loyd, Juniper Springs, Buford, Great Divide, Axial, Sunbeam, Maybell, Hamilton, and Fortification.

This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 40 in Colorado between mile markers 49 and 106. Colorado 13 between mile markers 20 and 124. Colorado 64 between mile markers 55 and 73. Colorado 318 between mile markers 49 and 60.
