At 512 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles west of Ignacio, or 9 miles southeast of Durango, moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Durango, Bondad, Falfa, and Oxford.

This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 550 in Colorado between mile markers 5 and 26. U.S. Highway 160 in Colorado between mile markers 78 and 99. Colorado 172 between mile markers 14 and 24.
