•Snow Squall Warning for...
West central Delta County in west central Colorado... Central Mesa County in west central Colorado... Southwestern Garfield County in west central Colorado...•Until 230 PM MST.
•At 203 PM MST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line
extending from near Grand Junction to 23 miles south of Palisade, moving northeast at 45 mph.HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to blowing snow and visibility rapidly falling to less than one-quarter mile. Wind gusts greater than 50 mph could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.SOURCE...Radar and webcams.IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous within minutes.This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 23 and 65. U.S. Highway 50 in Colorado between mile markers 32 and 57. Colorado 65 near mile marker 37, and between mile markers 40 and 61.
