At 142 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 25 miles northwest of Nucla, or 28 miles northeast of La Sal, moving northeast at 20 mph.HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.SOURCE...Radar indicated.IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible.This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Mesa County.This includes Colorado 141 between mile markers 87 and 105.
