At 635 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.3 and 1 inch of rain had fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow moving through the Deer Creek burn scar. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Deer Creek burn scar and portions of Highway 46 east of La Sal.
This includes the following streams and drainages... West Paradox Creek, Ice Lake Creek and Sal Creek, La.
