WHAT

Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

WHERE

A portion of west central Colorado, including the following counties, Delta and Olathe.

WHEN

Until 630 PM MDT.

IMPACTS

Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

- At 328 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Cottonwood Creek, Monitor Creek and Roubideau Creek. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.5 inches are possible over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... mainly rural areas of Southwestern Delta and Northern Montrose Counties - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
