At 228 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12 miles west of Durango, moving south at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Hesperus and Breen.

This includes the following highways... U.S. Highway 160 in Colorado between mile markers 72 and 76. Colorado 140 between mile markers 13 and 23.
