At 451 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles west of Parachute to near De Beque to 10 miles northeast of Palisade. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include... Parachute, Collbran, De Beque, Mesa, Battlement Mesa, Plateau City, and Molina.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 59 and 79. Colorado 65 between mile markers 49 and 57.
