At 941 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 24 miles northwest of Fruita, or 32 miles northwest of Grand Junction, moving northeast at 30 mph.HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.SOURCE...Radar indicated.IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of west central Garfield and southwestern Rio Blanco Counties.This includes Colorado 139 between mile markers 30 and 54.
