The City of Montrose is excited to announce that Buckhorn Lakes, a city-owned park located 15 miles southeast of downtown Montrose, will reopen to the public at noon on Friday, July 24.
Public Works staff will remove the barriers on the access road on Friday morning.
**Please note: **Campfires remain prohibited in the park until the city issues further notice.
The City of Montrose Parks Division closed Buckhorn Lakes on July 2 due to the threat of wildfire from the Gold Mountain Fire.
