Durango, CO: **City staff from the multimodal division presented an overview of proposed Capital Improvement Projects planned for 2027 through 2031 for projects that are funded by the voter‑approved 2015 Half‑Cent Sales and Use Tax.
This revenue supports multimodal improvements, including bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure as well as parks and recreation projects.
During the presentation, multimodal staff outlined the recommended prioritization of upcoming capital projects. Proposed work includes ADA upgrades, traffic calming initiatives, shared‑use path development, and enhanced connectivity near key civic facilities. The planned projects by year include:

City Council will review the proposed capital budget as part of the 2027 budget retreat this fall. Formal adoption of the 2027 budget is scheduled for December 2026.
