Durango, CO: **The City of Durango invites residents to attend a presentation of design concepts for the Buckley Park Master Plan on Aug. 19 from 4 - 6 p.m. at the Durango Public Library, 1900 East 3rd Ave.
Following a public workshop held at the park in June and in-person outreach, the project team has begun developing preliminary concepts for the future of Buckley Park.
During this workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to review design concepts, share feedback, and help identify preferred elements that will guide the master plan moving forward.
Buckley Park, acquired by the city from Durango School District, is a highly valued community space that currently lacks several amenities. The Master Plan seeks to establish a long-term vision that improves park functionality, enhances landscape resilience, integrates surrounding projects, and reflects community priorities.
The meeting is the second public workshop for Buckley Park, with the first being a design charrette held on June 15.
