The Cookie Tree Trail is a 0.9-mile hiking route in Ridgway State Park near Ridgway, Colorado. It connects the Dutch Charlie area to the Dallas Creek Day Use area, descending approximately 176 feet from an elevation of 6,859 to 7,036 feet. The trail is named for the Cookie Tree Ranch, which was submerged when Ridgway Reservoir was created in 1989. Hikers gain views of the San Juan Mountains and the reservoir. The surface is aggregate, and the trail allows leashed dogs, mountain bikes, and snowshoes. Parking is available at the trailhead, which features restrooms but no water. The trail is open year-round.
