It is classified as easy and allows hiking and leashed dogs, but prohibits bikes, horses, and motorized vehicles. Parking is available at the trailhead. The area features mature cottonwood forests and is noted for wildlife viewing, including muskrats, beavers, and diverse bird species. The trail is accessible year-round, though hikers should monitor for high water during spring runoff.
