Down Uppity is a 1.5-mile singletrack mountain biking trail in Fruita, Colorado, rated moderate or blue. The trail runs along the edge of a mesa and through a cow pasture, featuring twists, turns, washes, and small lumpy features. Several sections have steep dropoffs, and the trail is narrower than typical Fruita routes, requiring care. Riders can traverse it in either direction. Accessible from the 18 Road parking lot, the route branches off near the Vegetarian Loop and Chutes & Ladders. The trail is open from April through October, with parking available. It is pet-friendly and suitable for riders seeking a scenic, non-technical but slightly exposed ride with buttery flow.
