Classified as difficult to intermediate, the trail offers a technically demanding ride that typically takes about 14 minutes to complete. The route begins at an elevation of approximately 5,744 feet and serves as a climbing connector when ridden from north to south. The trail is designed with flowing singletrack, often oriented for directional riding. Accessible from April through October, the trail is open to pets and has parking available at the trailhead. It is part of the Grand Valley Trails network, which includes world-renowned routes across Palisade, Fruita, Loma, Mack, and the Grand Mesa. Riders should note seasonal closures from December through May and avoid riding when trails are wet and muddy.
