About
Iron Creek Campground is a lakeside facility within Crawford State Park on the Western Slope, situated directly along Crawford Reservoir near the boat ramp. The site offers 45 campsites that accommodate RVs up to 120 feet and trailers, featuring electric and water hookups with potable water at each site. Some sites include sewer connections, while others are standard gravel or concrete pads. Amenities include clean flush toilets, hot showers, a dump station, and picnic tables, some with metal shelters. The campground is pet-friendly for leashed dogs and horses, and reservations are required year-round. Visitors utilize the location for boating, fishing, and swimming, with shoreline access varying based on reservoir water levels. Shade is limited across most sites, making portable shade structures advisable for summer stays. Cell service is available but varies by carrier. The campground is located approximately 1 hour 24 minutes southeast of Grand Junction.
