About
Liquid Culture is a 50-foot sport climb located in Rifle Mountain Park, just west of Rifle, Colorado. The route is bolted and anchored, situated on the left side of a prominent blue streak, specifically to the left of the route Tomfoolery. The climb begins by ascending the left side of this blue streak toward a left-leaning seam. The climbing style is described as steep with sub-par moves and less-than-perfect rock quality. After following the crack, climbers execute unpleasant moves to reach a shallow, slabby dihedral. The finish is noted as anticlimactic, leading directly into the start of the route Gommorah rather than a traditional top-out. The area is known for limestone climbing, though this specific route features pocket and tufa-riddled stone characteristics. Parking is available at the site, and dogs are permitted.
