The Mule Deer Meadow Trail is a short, easy hiking path located in Ridgway State Park near the town of Ridgway on Colorado's Western Slope. The trail spans 0.5 miles at an elevation of 7,052 feet and connects the Visitor Center with the Dakota Terraces Campground. It is situated in the Dutch Charlie section of the park, approximately six miles north of Ridgway and 22 miles south of Montrose. The route is relatively flat and suitable for most visitors, with a typical completion time of 15 minutes. Parking is available near the trailhead, and access is open year-round from January through December. The trail runs along Ridgway Reservoir and Alkali Creek.
