The Pinyon Park Trail is a 0.7-mile loop located within Ridgway State Park, approximately 6 miles north of Ridgway, Colorado. The trail begins near the Visitor Center and follows the base of Elk Ridge toward the Dutch Charlie boat launch area, where it connects with the Secret Place trail. The route traverses the edges of a pinyon forest covering the hillside. The surface consists of aggregate material, and the elevation ranges from 6,924 to 7,039 feet with a total gain of 116 feet. The trail is rated easy and is open to hiking, biking, and Nordic skiing. Dogs are permitted if leashed. Parking is available at the trailhead.
