The North Fork of the Gunnison River offers moderate fishing opportunities, with a mix of fast and slow water that can be accessed from various points along its banks. At an elevation of 5700 feet, the river flows through a scenic valley surrounded by rolling hills and rugged terrain. From April to October, anglers can expect to find trout and other species, although water levels and clarity may vary depending on the time of year and snowmelt. Visitors can park in designated areas and use the available restrooms, and pets are also permitted in the area.
