Origami is a rock climbing destination located near Crested Butte on the Western Slope of Colorado. The site is classified as easy difficulty and sits at an elevation of 10,604 feet. Climbers typically spend about 8 hours at the location. The area offers parking and is pet friendly. Access is available year-round from January to December. The rock quality is generally good, though the beginning of the route may appear scrappy due to lichen. The climb starts from the ground and reaches a good anchor at the top, allowing for rappelling with a 70-meter rope. The route serves as an effective warm-up or access pitch to other nearby climbs such as ELO and Arch Dihedral. Climbers navigate cracks, flakes, and corners to reach a ledge where they can belay or continue upward. Descent involves moving northwest to bolt-and-chain anchors for rappelling or scrambling down 3rd Class terrain. The site is located in the Gunnison Valley region, which offers climbing options for various skill levels.
