Pa-Co-Chu-Puk Campground

Pa-Co-Chu-Puk Campground sits at the north end of Ridgway State Park along the Uncompahgre River, approximately 12 miles north of Ouray and accessible via US-550. The site features 95 large campsites, primarily offering full-hookup RV sites with concrete pads, alongside walk-in tent sites in Loop H that are elevated above the canyon floor. Facilities include camper service buildings with showers, flush restrooms, and seasonal laundry. The campground is open from May through September, though select winter camping is available in other loops of the park. Pets are permitted on a leash. The area provides direct access to the Uncompahgre River for fishing and serves as a base for exploring nearby trails and the San Juan Mountains.
