Salonpas is an 80-foot (24 m) trad climbing route located in the Subskull area of Palisade Mountain, near the town of Palisade on Colorado's Western Slope. The route sits at an elevation of 5,760 feet and is rated difficult, specifically 5.10b in the Yosemite Decimal System. It is positioned to the right of The Middle Man. Climbers approach an obvious crack by taking a slab and performing a balance traverse before entering the crack. The ascent concludes with jamming to the top. Protection is available for trad climbing. Parking is provided at the site, and pets are permitted. Palisade Mountain rises over 2,000 feet above the community of Gateway and is characterized by red rock formations. The mountain contains several subcrags, including Skull Rock and Subskull where Salonpas is found. Access is via US Highway 34, west of Loveland and east of Estes Park. Climbers typically park in the paved lot at Nancy's Rock, break off to the right after 100 feet, and follow trail blazes up and to the right. The area is open year-round, with climbing activity documented from 2020 through 2024. The route was first ascended by an unknown climber.
