Short Sport in the Short Fort is a short sport climb located in the Puoux climbing area near Glenwood Springs, Colorado. The route is a single-pitch climb approximately 20 feet (6 meters) high, described as a V2-V3 boulder problem protected by rope. It starts from a ledge and climbs small edges on a slightly steep wall. The climbing area is situated on the Lower Wall of Puoux, specifically within the Defiance Cave Preserve. Access requires downloading, completing, and submitting a climbing waiver to the property manager, Ken Headrick, via email. The area is private property, but trespassing tickets are not currently issued. The route is bolted with ring anchors. The location is accessible year-round, though the rock texture may require attention to footholds after wet weather. Parking is available for vehicles, and pets are permitted.
