The Star Wars trail is a 0.3-mile hiking and multi-use route located in Durango, Colorado, within the Overend Mountain Park system. Situated at an elevation of 6,982 feet, the trail features a trough-like surface and is classified as moderate difficulty. It serves primarily as a technical descent, dropping 240 feet to connect with the Perins Gulch trail. While open year-round from January through December, the trail is most popular with mountain bikers due to its tight corners and flowy descent. Hikers should expect shared use with cyclists descending the trail. Parking is available at the trailhead, which is accessed from the top of Grabens Loop. The short length allows for a quick excursion or integration into larger loops, such as the combination with Crestview and Ella Vita trails.
