About
The Long One is a moderate rock climbing route in Telluride, Colorado, situated at 12,907 feet. It is a long traverse on The Main Wall, characterized by two difficult V7ish sections separated by an easier middle section with rest potential. The route is described as long and pumpy, functioning more like a multi-pitch climb than a boulder problem. Climbers start on the far left, following The Alien Traverse rightward until vertical seams appear. At that point, they continue right using head-height holds into The Undercling Traverse before finishing as for that problem. The area offers parking and allows pets. Access is year-round, though winter conditions may include snow or ice.
