Tuff Canyon is a technical downhill mountain biking trail located in the Cerro Summit Recreation Area near Montrose, Colorado. Designed primarily for descending, the route features prominent technical rock features, including two large rock sections with optional easier alternatives. The trail includes several large rollers and in-sloping turns. The main Tuff Canyon trail is rated as difficult, while the adjacent Tuff Canyon Cutoff is a 100-foot blue-difficulty singletrack used for downhill travel only. Access is available from the Elk Run trail, which leads up a draw to the Porcupine trail. Parking is available at the trailhead. The trail is open from April through October and is pet-friendly.
