About
Unknown 3 is a 5.10 YDS sport climb located in the Swimming Hole area of Grand Junction, Colorado. The route is 70 feet tall and situated as the third climb from the left on the cliff face. It is positioned just to the right of a rock formation pointing toward the river, relative to the adjacent route named Unknown. The climb features flakey ledges with multiple rest points along its straight ascent. Around the 10th clip, the line angles to the right. The crux demands a high right foot, a right-hand pocket, and a left-hand mantle. Climbers should consider using extended draws to mitigate rope drag. Parking is available at the site, and pets are permitted.
