Just hike through the park to the southeast corner and follow the trail out to Minnesota Ave. The pavement will end and you'll climb a short hill into the Hawks Haven subdivision. The road will split and you'll take a left to the top where you'll find the trailhead. Thanks for parking at Apple Valley Park.
