At 325 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9 miles southwest of Dove Creek, or 23 miles southeast of Monticello, moving east at 15 mph.HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.SOURCE...Radar indicated.IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible.Locations impacted include... Cahone, Yellow Jacket, and Lewis.This includes U.S. Highway 491 in Colorado between mile markers 38 and 58.
