Crews have completed water utility work, wastewater utility work, stormwater, geothermal, gas, and electrical work.
Between Duckels-Bettger Pit Road (2 miles west of the Steamboat Springs area) and Old US 40 (2 miles east of the Hayden area) from Mile Point 126 to Mile Point 112. Road construction. Vehicles will be reduced to a single-lane, alternating traffic intermittently in either direction, throughout the duration of the project Lane closures, guided by flaggers, will have up to 10-minute delays. The speed limit will be reduced to 40 mph through the work zone. The project is expected to last until the middle of November.
