The work is part of routine upkeep to help keep the playground safe, welcoming and ready for continued use by the community.
The repairs will require additional time to cure overnight and into Thursday morning. The playground is scheduled to reopen by midday Thursday, September 10.
The rest of Birch Park will remain open. Please use caution near the playground area, stay clear of the work zone, and follow any posted safety signage.
