**Grand Junction, CO – **On July 4, 2026, at approximately 11:40 p.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a single motorcycle crash in the 2200 block of Gunnison Avenue.
Through the course of the investigation, officers determined a motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Gunnison Avenue when it lost control and ultimately crashed. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries by the Grand Junction Fire Department.
