Grand Junction, CO (June 23, 2026, 2:25 p.m.) – Several traffic signals are currently out following a motorhome crash into a power box at the intersection of N 1st Street and Patterson Road. The outage has impacted all signalized intersections along Patterson Road between N 1st Street and 27 ½ Road.
The Grand Junction Police Department and Grand Junction Fire Department are on scene. There are no reported injuries, and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
Motorists are encouraged to use an alternate route if possible and expect delays in the affected areas. Use extra caution when approaching intersections with non-functioning traffic signals and watch for first responders and other drivers.
Xcel Energy is on scene and working to restore power as quickly as possible.
