Black Ridge Trail is a 2.7-mile mountain biking route in the Gunnison Gorge National Conservation and Wilderness Area near Delta, Colorado. The trail begins at the upper end of Eagle Road and follows the ridge south before descending to Chukar Road. The terrain features rolling doubletrack, slickrock, and steep, loose sections with rocky outcrops. Riders encounter a 3-4 foot ledge drop near the end of the ridge, with options to jump or pass through slots. The trail offers elevated views of the Gunnison River and Chukar Road below. It serves as part of the longer Red Rocks/Nighthorse trail system. Access is available from Eagle or Elephant Skin trailheads. The trail is generally open from April through October. Parking is available at the trailhead. Dogs are permitted on the trail.
